Introducing the Material Lady

Hi! My name is Kim and I am a City and Guilds (Fashion I & II) qualified dressmaker living in Worcestershire, England. I have been sewing for other people for the last 20 years and in that time I have been asked to make lots of interesting garments (including decorating bras for the Moonwalk!) and met some lovely people. Sadly, I have got out of the habit of sewing for myself so I hope this blog will make me do more if that.Check my posts to see what I am doing now. No customer work will be shown – all the garments shown will be my own.

If you want to contact me my address is themateriallady’at’ g mail dot com.
